{Under the Sea-Party Theme Idea}

Since summer is just around the corner, I wanted to share my "Under the Sea" party that I planned for my kiddos last fall. The fall was not the time to throw an Under the Sea party. I couldn't find anything to go along with this theme. But since sea rhymed with 3, I gave it a go and found this cute digi scrap kit to use and make my own party decor and invites. Here is the front of the invite. I also made thank you cards that were just like this, but said "Thank You," on the front, to send out to their little friends after the party. My kids got a kick out of the googly eyes that we added.
Here is the inside of the invite. I love invitations that include a photo of the special birthday kid!

I used the digi number 3 on the cupcake toppers, hats, cups, decor and napkin holders.

We had an "Under the Sea" lunch for part of our party. For the table decor, I used seashells and starfish for the center piece. I cut out large orange fish for the place mats, and added a fun drink umbrella in the cups.

I also printed some of the digi sea animals to hang on the chandelier.

& home made party hats are a must! I make them every year for my kids! You just can't find them this cute or personalized. This year I used the crab with the 3 to stick with the theme and then added pom pom balls around the base and one on top.

On our lunch menu:
*Fish and starfish shaped sandwiches (use a cookie cutter to make these shapes out of your bread)
*blue and green jello jigglers
*goldfish crackers
*apple and carrot slices
*blue kool-aid
*& crab cupcakes
Games & Activities:
*Pin the Tail on the Whale
*We made creatures out of seashells
*& we played "go fish" for our goody bags

  8. great birthday party theme idea . Sooooo cute ..When party planning, you want to have a healthy mix of people that will be able to enjoy each others company without starting drama. Therefore think your guest list out thoroughly.
